This is exactly why I'm rereading this whole comic again (because of Smauglock of course but also-- ) because of this beautiful page right here.
Bilbo's wish is so pure and heart-achingly honest, I can still feel the building pressure of unshed tears behind my eyes. His words, which hold such integrity and earnestness, causes a lump to form in my throat. And yet I still come back and read them over and over again.
What I'm trying to say is that you are a great artist and this page here just proves all of it. This comic is really stunning.

Honestly, I just wanted to make a funny short comic about 7 pages in the beginning. However, there was something more that I’d like to share with via this story.
If this story not only describes an interesting plot but also reminds people of the beautiful spirit from the original fiction, it will be beneficial for the hobbit’s fans who read it. That is what I wish for.

Well, to me your wish had definitely been granted, hehe. That intimate moment was a wonderful touch you had added. During the first couple of chapters I thought this would be a sort of humorous but fluff-filled comic featuring Smauglock, but then here came that one precious, heartfelt moment and I was absolutely astounded and hypnotized by the beauty of it all and how it came together

Bilbo the adorable knows how to break Smaug the terrible.
But it works for me, too... His wish is so pure and honest, somehow you wish that it would come true in 'real-life' aswell...
However humans can be even more evil and greedy then dragons. Well, well...
