I use exclusively my own custom brush set..
and there is lot of brushes.. about 160, too many or not 
I am using mostly
"TK Sketch Pencil", pressure and speed affects stroke width.
"TK Paint Smudge", hard pressure = color, light pressure = smudge.
"TK Round Tint", blocking colors.
"TK Brush Pen", if i want to make ink drawings.
"TK ContΓ© 2"
for textures
"TK Dry Brush Ink"
"TK Twisted Hair Brush"
"TK Round Hairy"
"TK Hairy Brush"
and.... many more odd texture brushes..
like those Splashes and Watery Spot brushes...
