I just browsed your gallery and profile. (cool)
Looks like you`re a fan of my beloved country Kartoffelland (some call it "Germany", but I don`t know why exactly)...
And is that a real MP40 on the picture that shows you? (no offense, and not meant to be some stupid "Hey Baby" talk but you look very nice on it)
Also: You have to be a big fan of the novel/movie "Vaterland", right?

I like Germany as a country, mostly because awesome landscapes and history is really interesting. As a Swede, our interaction has sort of been... changeable with Germany. 

The MP40 was a very nice replica of an MP40, because an actual "Schmeisser" costs insane amounts of money and would not be used in reenactments of border incidents in Norway/Sweden. 

I have not read more of Vaterland than the Wikipedia summary. Most of my AU/Alt-hist stuff is born from an obsession with Albert Speer and wanting to put him through various levels of problems. Sort of. Because he is the eternal Straight Man. 

Ah, greetings from Mariestad, Pearl of Lake Vänern! I've been to Lübeck many times. It is a very nice city, fantastic marzipan!

Next time that you and your family or friends are around just give me a hint. I could show you the city or some nice fishing grounds. A friend of mine is a pro-fishing crack, no joke. He will supply you with everything you`ll need.

I saw a documentary about Speers son recently (also an architect). Pretty interesting, you might watched it already. I could look for a link otherwise, though i question that it would be subtitled or something.
