Description I've never really had much reason to complain about my scanner, UNTIL NOW

*sigh* The original looks so much better.
Especially the stars; they're actually silver/gold and reflective.

Maybe I'll try to get a better scan later...

I had a whole story worked out in my head about what to write here, but now I can't really remember what. As usual

Want to hear about the process?!

It was very time-consuming and unpractical.

I started out with a sketch, inked the good lines, erased everything else, transfered the whole thing to watercolour paper, started with the watercolours (my old cheap ones) right away, painted through half of the guy and clouds, colored the guy and moon with my brand new watercolour pencils... When I was finished with that and everything was dry I, came to the conclusion that those watercolours really fucking sucked.

So, I bought some new expensive Winsor & Newton watercolours and some acrylic paints as well and started all over again.

Transfered only the claws (yes, that's what those things at the bottom are) this time and painted the sky with my new watercolours. While I waited for that to dry, I transfered the moon with the guy, clouds and lightbulb to another piece of watercolour paper, colored them with watercolour pencils (except the suit, that's regular pencil), screwed up the hair and face, cut out the hair and face from the failed piece (they looked wayyy better there and I was too lazy to do the whole thing again ), glued them onto the new one, added some white acrylic paint to two of the clouds, realized that it really wasn't that bright and they looked better without acrylic paint and left the other clouds alone.

Then I painted the claws (more acrylic paint!) and added some more watercolour to the sky. After that I cut the other things out and glued it to the main thing. I sharpened some lines with a fineliner, poked two holes through the paper with a needle, dragged thread through them and made a knot at the back.
As the finishing touches I painted some tiny white stars and glued some glitter stars and diamonds on the thing.

And it was done!

I love it so
Not the scan. I hate the scan.

Thanks for looking! And even more for reading all the way through! Though I'll understand if you just skipped most of it
I'd love to hear your thoughts on it
