This was pretty much my reaction to the film, starting off with an open mind seeing if the film will be good or mediocre. Then ended with a huge smile on my face saying to myself yeah that was an amazing film.

WE HAD THE SAME REACTIONS! To a T! I wasn't sold on the trailer, but I was told it was great and the designs/enviorment were amazing, and omfg I cried when Grug drew his family on the wall and made Eep and Guy a couple ( and laughed too because he shipped them as well) and then again when he counted Guy as part of the family

To be honest I wasn't convinced myself. But after seeing it I think it's okay, but I still prefer Rise of the guardians over this, just my personal opinion.

YEP!! THAT ABOUT SUMS IT UP!! the character designs got me at first too. I couldnt figure out why everyone ADORED Guy and eep and even the little sister was a fave (sandy i think?) and i just kinda cringed every time they came one screen...
And then Guy started dancing around every time he flipped out or the way Eep folded over and flipped around in the trees and i was like "ITS FUCKING TARZAN MAGIC!!" and i pretty much got over whatever petty disdain i had for it from the start XDD

I saw this movie for two things.. the critterz.. and the face that Chris sanders made it..Β and maybe also the distracting shirtless guy... XD.. I guess we'll cry when invents something called.. a shirt
