Description
Sketchblog!Another commissioned piece for an upcoming German RPG forum. This one features the playable Caloo race that resembles anthropomorphic kangaroos.
One of the things that this species is known for is exploration. The other is their technology, which is somewhat advanced for a fantasy world, so I made her clothes a combination of steampunk and Indiana Jones.
I am in love with this picture... you have no idea. I've been wanting to draw a roo for months now. If the client didn't like the sketch then I probably would have claimed the character myself.
In any case, this concept will be the base for my Mican species, which are also anthro kangaroos (or at least evolved from them) but are a bit different.
EDIT: Wow, a DD?! This is unexpected! Thank you!

Nope, the client didn't specify that it needed to be Australian influenced. Because of the descriptions given to me, I more went for a steampunk/Indiana Jones cross.

yeah, I figures the indiana jones cross...its just from the colour symbolism, the fact it kinda looked like a kangaroo and the acoobra looking hat and matching attire...I dont know, it just seemed australianish to me, I never meant offense or anything
