I would agree... whales are fine. I have two teenagers in my house and something tells me they would both hang this on our walls

Nature'll go how she wants to. Which may or may not involve whales.

Would they? xD

I still say life would be horrible without teenagers. I know whales are special and all, but not high ranking on my happy meter. I would be sad to see them go, but without my teens I would be a sad soul indeed.

Very seriously, I think way too much is done to save animals when we have teens who really need our help. The millions spent on saving spotted owls could have been used to start programs and what not for kids in this country who really need it. *hops off her mom soap box*

Not so seriously... My daughter would hang it up... now that I think about it, my 16 year old son might not. My four year old looked at it though... she loved it. Her exact words... "MOOOOOM!!! RAINBOWS!!!" and then she ran off singing something about wearing rainbow clothes and dancing in flowers. You made her smile and that made me smile .

I happen to know that life would be horrible without teenagers. Without puberty, hormones wouldn't exist and people would be too happy. (And over-happiness leads to general disappointment when the smallest bad thing happens.)

As for the saving animals.... I know that they're important, part of nature, intelligent, sentient beings, but children are the future. It's a simple choice of the future or the past. (I sound terribly corny.)

I'd be surprised if your son would hang it up. Boys are just like that. -w- 'S nice that I made your four-year-old happy. :3 I've achieved my good deed for the day. <3

You are not corny.. unless you are scarfing popcorn... you are spot on. Kids are the future. Adults forget what it is like to be a teenager sometimes. I think that is the positive side of me having my children when I was younger than most. I can relate to them. There is no 40 year age gap between us. That and the fact that I REFUSE to grow up

You remind me of my best friend's mom. x3 She's still so obsessed with Hello Kitty, and her husband adores video games.

*shifty* I have no idea what you would be referring to... *hides her Guitar Hero controller*

For me it is Star Wars and Rock Band like video games... oh yeah and Zelda and Spyro the Dragon. I don't have skill for much else

I love playing video games, but I don't have any. xD My mom hates games of all kinds.... So I learn to life without entertainment.

She even killed the television. God.

I never had video games growing up. I actually never played a video game until my kids got a nintendo 64 back in the day... ah fond memories of star wars pod racing. I was restricted to one hour of television a night while my mom watched whatever she wanted whenever she wanted. You have no idea what torture is until you know every episode of Murder She Wrote by heart. Google it if you have no clue what that is

I had my books and my writing. I have about a million journals and notebooks of stuff I wrote. I also had a park within walking distance and I deluded myself into believing I could draw as a form of escape. I know better now, but back then it passed the time.

Now, as an adult I get great joy in hoarding the remote when my mom comes to visit and blocking the channels I know she loves to watch so she does not torture my kids. She is a news fiend now... watches CNN all day. She could not believe our cable package didn't have CNN. My kids loved me and thanked me later, my dad just giggled. I try not to be disrespectful, but I am almost 35 and think I can decide what my kids need to see and what they don't. They don't need to watch CNN 24/7. Life is rough enough with out all that extra depression dumped on them.

We tend to play video games until 3 am on weekends and watch way too many great movies for our own good. Life is good. *steals you and tosses you in a room with a 51" plasma and a playstation 2*

lol You sound like all my daughter's friends. I am always amazed at how many of them never want to leave when they come to visit. I don't see myself as anything special, and then I meet some of the other parents. I can't fathom how their kids breathe much less survive. People wonder why so many teenagers are so angsty. Parents smother them and allow them no free thought. So many either just don't care and have no interaction or they are so over protective that their kids are afraid of EVERYTHING. Kids can't live that way. They have to be allowed to mess up and to make errors and live. Otherwise there is no point to it.

I love my kids, but my goal is for them to move out and succeed at life, not live in my basement until they are 40

If I could take in all the teenagers that I wanted to, my house would be overflowing. I say the more the merrier. I figure if they are all here they are not out causing trouble... they are here helping me cause it . I am such a horrible influence my daughter says and then we both utter a maniacal laugh...

You know, you would probably like her art... She marches to her own drummer and sometimes she trips over her own feet marching, but it is all fun. She can write too, but she has not started sharing that just yet.

Hang in there and stay strong. You will be out on your own before you know it and able to make your own choices. Learn now how to choose wisely and you will do well. Remember there are always people out there willing to help, you just have to remember to ask

It's because the teenagers need saving!
