Oh crap. This is almost always where the misunderstanding is revealed, where the Adam character says, "I know you're in love with me" and then the Julien character is like "What?? No, I just like you as a friend!" (possibly with an additional "that's creepy, get away from me" or "I have a crush on your sister" or even "I was just playing a prank on you.") Or it could all be a dream, as is being speculated in the comments below. Either way, I've got a looming sense of dread that shit's going to hit the fan soon, and the suspense is killing me.
