I have actually stood infront of this house and walked up the alley toward it. The painting was then done from a photo we took. Thank you for viewing and your lovely comment

I painted this from a photo we took whilst on holiday. we hired a car and drove off into the mountains a village called Fataga. walking through these quaint little alley ways, we turned a corner and there was this house with itΒ΄s bench under a huge blossoming tree. I just had to paint it

I'm really glad you did because I absolutely adore the picture. It's so atmospheric and I love how you have painted the sky and the mountains in the distance too. The gradient of the slope leading up to the house is really obvious too, and the picture is so full of character.
