Description
A new oc I made recently. He’s a fluffy grandpa whose old but still very strong physically.

Looks:
-Most obvious trait about him, he is ENORMOUS, and towers over most kinds of dogs.
-All the fluff in the world exists on this one pooch.
-He is technically gray in color but it has a very strong blue tint to it. Almost to the point where he looks more dimmed blue than gray.
-No one knows what kind of dog he really is or what breeds were mixed. He looks like a huge blue husky but he his face resembles a Scottish Terrier more. Even if those the breeds mixed in him, it would be strange that he wasn’t born as a little fluffy lap-dog rather than this huge other kind.
-It’s a bit hard to see due to his coloring, but Earl’s tail-tip is a darker blue with a couple tiny blue dots. The dark coloring quickly fades into his lighter coat.
-There is a line of dark blue on his back and it fades like his tail-tip downwards onto his light coat. His ear-tips fade in the same way, dark on top and lighter down.
-His ear fluff and underbelly are light, dusty gray. He has sock-markings the same color going from the middle of his legs to his paws. His pawpads are salmon colored

Personality:
Good: Caring, Loyal, Experienced, Calm(normally)
Neutral: Protective
Bad: Sometimes talks about himself too much, Overly-Cautious at times, Sometimes doesn’t realize he is wrong in a situation(especially if it’s a dangerous one).

Other Facts About Him:
-He is an army veteran, hence his badge and his injured leg. His badge is for bravery and for exceptional service, along with being a mascot(y’know the little bone on his badge) He fortunately didn’t not receive any major injuries that affected him in the long run except his leg.
-He can technically walk fairly well without the splint, but it does help. I also think he likes to wear it to impress puppies with his war stories.
-He is known better by his nickname Old Earl, however close friends call him Maximus because that was a nickname he was called often when he was younger. Bully dogs like to call him Minimus as a cruel joke, and while he makes it look like it’s doesn’t affect him, it does sadden him.
-While he is old, he is still very strong physically. He could easily pull a cart and replace the pony that originally pulled it(and probably do a better job at it)
-He is the biggest softie you’ll ever meet. If you asked him for cuddles he wouldn’t even wait to answer on and jump right on you(That is, if he doesn’t trip in the process, which happens).

Most likely to happily continue telling his stories no matter how many times you roll your eyes at him.

I don’t often have inspiration for complex backstories for characters, but this time I had a bunch of ideas and used them all lol.
