Saecair Typing // List of Known Saecair / / A Guide to Saecair Skulls / / A Chart of Saecair Fang Rarity / / Saecair Horn Variants // A Guide to Humanoid SaecairScale Morph information:
Scale morphs are naturally occurring scale variations in a Saecair. Like there are different head shapes, there can be different scale types. The head and scale types may not always coincide and a rare or uncommon scale type does not dictate the other features of the Saecair. This is not caused by any magic, radiation, or any outside means. It's simply decided upon by random chance genetics- or if the parent is a carrier of the scale type.
The scales will show up more on the shoulders, chest, back rump, hindquarters, forelegs, stomach and along the neck. They will also appear across the body naturally- though they don't cover all of the body it's mostly clusters of scales interspersed across the natural base scales.
EXAMPLE OF DIFFERENT SCALE TYPES:
(both exhibit feather body) (Dragon type on forest body)
Tundra Fur
Obviously, instead of scales the Tundra exhibit different fur types. These fur types are at, assumed, natural length unless other hair morphs are applied (I.E lion). However the rarest fur type is called "Thermal." While the hair looks short- it is very thick and coarse much like polar bear fur or the thick insulating feathers on a penguin.
EXAMPLES OF DIFFERENT FUR TYPES:
(square) (Lion, with regular fur) (Sheep)

Introducing the new scale types I was playing with! Figured out what I wanted, and a good way to display and implement them c:
I may be adding more scale types if I can think of more- but for now this is all I'm adding just as an introduction! Hope you all enjoy c:
