Story:
Please note:

The story will be told in the form of a second game taking place after the first game
The stricture will be basically the same as the first game with Cat filling out the role of Boss (Fresh/Blixer, whatever you may call 'em)
Pre-game:
Cat shows up some time after the Pink Corruption to join his friends, the Player and the Cube. He's shown to be fun-loving and a bit too daring for his own good. One day the group of friends stumble upon some lasting remnants of the Pink Corruption, and being too careless Cat ends up infected by the Pink Corruption (takes on the Corrupted form).

Afraid of what has just happened, Cat runs away, spreading more of the Corruption wherever he goes. The Player must track him down and overcome obstacles as Paradise begins to fall into chaos once more.

Encounter 1:
The Player finds Cat again, cowering away in a hiding place, visibly shaking and afraid. When approached Cat seems to calm down, before starting acting strange and malicious, now deliberately corrupting more of his surroundings. As the Player approaches him further he turns to face the Player, seeming to have forgotten who they are. Approached once again Cat appears amused and decides he wants to corrupt the Player too, suddenly increasing in size and forcing the player into a boss fight.

Encounter 2:

Some stages later the Player encounters Cat again. Frustrated from his first defeat he wants to show the Player he has grown stronger.

Encounter 3:

After Cat's second defeat he's not seen again until towards the last area of the game. With the Player frustrating him further he pounces at the Player and sends them into a chase stage.

Final encounter, part 1:

Enraged, Cat takes his final form (Manticore form) and threatens to cause a whole lot more damage to Paradise. Halfway trough the boss fight he starts showing signs of remorse as he starts to remember who the Player is, and realizing what he has done.

Final encounter, part 2:

The Player is reminded by their friends that they can use the power of the Tree of Life to restore the now pleading Cat to his uncorrupted form. Empowered by the Tree of Life the player tries to heal Cat, but has to break his defences as Cat is once again scared, and fighting back.

Restored / Post-game:

Cat starts glowing, pieces of the corruption shattering and shooting off until the entire screen goes white. As the world fades into view everything that once was Corrupted is now in a dull shade of it's original colours, and Cat is back to his normal size. Cat is however not blue like he was before, but instead a soft pink, showing that the Pink Corruption left a permanent mark on him. However, as the Player approaches him he appears much calmer, and confused, but as he spots the Player he appears filled with joy and pounces at them, hugging them and expressing how happy he is to be back to normal.

The world is shown to slowly heal itself and the friends are seen hanging out together once more, Cat appearing much more mellow now.
