I made this for a sweet friend's birthday. Faryba is so kind and makes such wonderful animations that she allows all of us to use to brighten up our messages. She also does many features for her friends. Fary is one of the most kind and caring people on DA
Happy Birthday dear Fary! You deserve a special day. I hope you enjoy the pretty lace fractal.

This looks like a growing crystal. You know, the kind of metal crystals like Bismuth? Either this or a petri dish full of slime molds (sorry for the comparison). But hey, they can be very beautiful! I saw a lot of them during my biology studies and they are fascinating in many ways. Anyway, this is awesome and it's such a great gift. Well done

I know what you are talking about when it comes to slime molds, I'm a biologist. They can be very pretty, so I'm glad you liked it. I never thought of crystal growth, but it could resemble that too. Fractals were studied from the beginning because it is nature's geometry, so it's not surprising to find natural forms.

I'm at a weird crossroads because I absolutely love it but it also gives me the heebie jeebies because it looks like mold under a microscope and looking at thins in a microscope freak me out sometimes..but it's so nice and so well done!!
