I think a lot in Sisyphus, and the image is more Sisyphus than Icarus, I think ... Carrying the whole world... only the bottom left is ascendant...
but, Icarus is almost a companion, a silent angel, a breath...

Icarus fell to the Dardanellus ( Marmara Sea) and drawned...Because his wings made of wax and he captured his soul to the joy of flying and he flew towards the sunnnnnnnn! ( all sunhine creates a desert)... So whenever you capture your soul to such dense feeling ( Joy of flying) You will be burned by a fire...
If you don't mind to carry the whole word on your shoulder you can let your Body ( or your soul) to fly up and away...So you will not mind to be drawned and you will keep on flying till the time that your weak wings can not carry anymore...If you can notice that you can not carry the world on your shoulder like Atlas did one of this days, you must controll what's left from the old version of you. And if you decide you can't live with that then you must keep on dıoing what you are doing ( to fly up towards the sun)

Wise men says;Body is not the enemy of soul it just covers it, and the sould RULES the body. Your ego must be controlled by your brain and you must protect yourself before dedicing to wear such a pair of waek wings wich can not carry you to happiness.
