First Painting I spent this much time on.Used a reference for the ear and part of the nose to help me meet my uni deadlines

The only critique I had was just minor clean ups (i.e., smoother lines, more detail in the eyebrows). However, I believe you mentioned this was an unfinished piece in the comments. I actually don't mind the faded colours as that's my preference these days; although, I can understand that the subject would "pop out" with a greater contrast.

It's beautiful, my only suggestion would be to look at your colour warmth and where you are putting it - warm colours come forward, cool colours recede, if you cooled the colours on her far cheek to a slightly more blue shade, it would push it back a little

The pink was supposed to be Magenta lighting but it ended up blending to much with the skin.

Looks like the 12 hours paid off! Great job on all the shadows, the only thing I would suggest is cleaning up the left side of her face more into a smoother line

Yeah, I noticed it too. The thing is, this technically isn't done. I just couldn't work on it anymore. Working on the same project for half a day can get boring sometimes. I'll probably pick this up again but for now I'll paint other stuff.

I love her face, but I feel like if you crank up the darkness it would bring her face out even more. The picture feels washed out (unless you intended for that). Nonethless, amazing render. Insta-fave. :]

It being washed out does bother me more and more, when I look at it, unfortunately. I'll have to tweak that when I get back to this project. Thank you for the comment btw ...^_^...!!
