For the upcoming X-Men reboot coming out later this March, it was announced that the X-Men’s shape-shifting Mutant, Morph, is being reintroduced as Non-Binary with They/Them pronouns AND has an openly Gay VA! They’re one of my favorite characters in the original show and it makes me SO happy to see more LGBTQ representation in the world of X-Men!!!

…Despite what a certain loud minority says. Like, it’s SUPER FUNNY to me that these Anti-Woke weirdos are getting angry at X-MEN. Hello? Storm is a Black-Mutant-Woman? Wolverine has several interracial relationships? Ice-Man is GAY and has a Husband? Mystique is Genderfluid, and in a Lesbian relationship with Destiny??? It’s not even like Morph was a major main character in the original show! They had a minor arc under Mr. Sinister for the most part and only came back a couple other times. I’d say that these Anti-Woke idiots missed the point of X-Men, but I’d even argue they’re making the point; People fear what they don’t understand, which leads to the exact same outrage Mutants have to face in the series. C’mon, there’s more important things to get mad about instead of a fictional character being Non-Binary.

LBGTQ folks have been denied open representation for decades, especially in the comic industry. Times have changed with acceptance thanks to works like X-Men, so I think it’s really silly to be seething at an oppressed group finally getting a chance in the spotlight.
