some crappy fanart of an awesome movie which was based off an even awesomer bookim not completely happy with it, but im not looking for any critique unless its easily fixable :\
anddd the colors are less vibrant than they are in person, but oh well
materials used: watercolors, masking fluid, brown micron sakura pen

There's just something about watercolors that, when used in the right hands, really makes the picture. This is a prime example of such. I really like the background. Coraline looks awesome, herself, too.

yeah, the book is excellent! i read it well before i heard about the movie, and i enjoyed how creepy it is. the movie is, of course, excellent for its own reasons.

not quite! i used this stuff called "masking fluid". Basically you apply it on like paint, and it functions as the 'tape' you'd paint over, and then peel it off when you're done painting! it's awesome. It's perfect for white spots you don't want to fuss over
