Monotype 3 of 6 I had to do for my printmaking class. XDThis was done by painting watercolors on plexiglass that had a layer of gum arabic on it... then I dampened drawing paper and ran it through a press to have it print out.
My theme for this project was mythology, legend and folk talkes.
This one is a Norse myth that the two pups of Fenrir chase the sun and moon around the earth. They'll eventually get them at Ragnarok. :0

Oh no... Ragnarok... I think Norse Mythology is much more grim than Greek or Roman Mythology.

I like how they look cloudy and demonic, like proper supernatural nasties. I imagine the World Serpent looking up at these two from his coils around the Earth and being all like "do you MIND? I'm tryin' to sleep down here!"

I was nosing around Norse mythology just this week (looking for Pokemon names, believe it or not)....I really think Loki and Dimas must've been separated at birth.
