Um . . . how did the Balan community already become so split?

The demo for Balan Wonderworld was released at the start of February and is being heavily scrutinized, rightfully so sadly. There are some major issues such as the game not running properly on all consoles, game mechanics are extremely outdated, abilities are a pain to use and collect, and the controls are really weird (one button only O_O). A lot of reviewers are saying pretty mixed things, mostly bad. The official Balan Twitter page is posting frequently and there has been minor improvements you can find but Square Enix refuses to acknowledge any negative criticism.

The game is going to be released on March 26, but the fan base and publishers are playing hand-in-hand scaring away buyers. The publishers need to admit there is a problem and at least try to rest assure they are fixing it and the fans need to stop going so overly negative. This constant strand will only scare buyers away more because almost every post, comment, or review you find with anything Balan Wonderworld related will say "Delay the game." It isn't because they hate it though, its because they see the potential that this can be the game 2021 people are looking for.

To be honest, I side with the delay argument. $60 for a game that has all of these major problems and a publisher that ignores said outcry while having time to fix it is highly discouraging. I still want to be a bit optimistic that it was just a bad demo release and the game is actually more than what was presented. I will keep watching and see what is going on. If things go up, I will try and pick up a copy on opening day/month. If this downward trend keeps going, I'll be waiting for a sale or just get the merch because those are looking better than the game.

Though with all this backlash, I still would recommend anyone to give this series a try. Look into it and see where this world brings you please. The art is amazing, the music is outstanding, and the environments are beyond beautiful. There is effort in this and it deserves more positive attention.
