Description
Here's the Book 1 Chapter 2 cover from my webcomic, Cealdian, which can be read here: [link] or at my gallery as well.A rather quickly done piece...I wanted lots of little details and lots of knotwork (as usual). Actually the knotwork came most naturally for me, it was the fastest part of the whole piece but really brought it together in the end, I think.
I had to keep a pretty large area open for the text, which appears on the version on the comic site. Hopefully the composition still works without it.

I absolutely loved this cover art, and if it was possible it made me fall in love with your webcomic even more! The intricate details are absolutely amazing, and it looks so cozy for some reason. I'm going to blame those colors.

The composition looks great without the words. All that space surrounding him creates such a lonely atmosphere. And the amount of detail is absolutely incredible. It's really wonderful.

A beautiful piece, I love your comic so much. You definately have a way with making cloth drape (anything cloth looks like its starched straight on my drawings)

Awesomeness in color, reminds me of what my ancestors must have looked like, though maybe not as short
He's so cute I wanna pick him up and make a break for it, but I'm shorter then November and being disambowled isn't as appealing as it sounds. {I need those organs to sell so I can buy art!}
Would you consider doing a commission like this?
I'd sell one of my organs to have a piece of artwork so full of awesome.

This is sooooo freaking GREAT!!! Thankyou thankyou thankyou!
I almost threw a fit in my living room I'm so excited.
I'm a Harpist by trade and I have a real love of Gaelic,Celtic, and Pictish stuff.
One of my ancestors was Nechtan, a Pictish king, and ever since I found out that I've been hoping to find someone who could sketch me as a pictish warrior.
Full Color would be something I would grovel for and even a simple sketch would keep me dancing for weeks. You know the worth of your work better then I do, so as long as I don't have to start a private gold mine I'll pick bottles for a month to get my hands on your work. XD

Sorry I took so long getting back to you, I seem to be full of fail this week. O__o
I have to say I don't know a lot about the Picts specifically, but now I'll have to go learn more
My prices are always flexible so we'll see what we can do. I usually do a fully painted piece like this one for $50, while an inked sketch is usually $20 and a pencil sketch is $10.

No worries about the time frame thing, it's been awhile since I came back online myself."Repairing roof stuff here"
I would be more then happy to pay $50 for your work. I was also wondering if that's for the original or not.
Second question is if you would except a money order, as I don't hold any major credit cards or paypal accounting.
I'm going to be headed off for a week or more with the family so I might not be able to reply for awhile. Just leave me a msg and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. If you would like I can also gather up info on the Pictish for you.
The excitement is on!
