This is fabulous. All of the trees are. But the rock this is mounted on is my favorite of the bases.
I saw that you visited my page, and when I looked at your gallery, I figured you had saw my recently uploaded "Wire Cube and Tree" deviation and took interest.
But man. Wow. Your wire trees spank my cheesy tree like tens times over. This is your niche, not mine. lol
But seeing how I'm new to the whole 3D wire world, can I pick your brain for tips or ideas? Thanks for your time!

Thanks a million! I guess my first question is how do you coil wire so tightly? I know this strengthens the material, and I have done this on several occasions using needle-nose pliers, and I've heard of using a drill somehow...but I can't even picture how that's done...lol Or do you have a different techinque? BTW, if you don't want to give out trade secrets, totally disregard those questions! I don't want to be intrusive on what makes you original in creative construction!

Much thanks!!! Don't be surprised if you see some new work posted in the near future. I've been getting good pain medications from my doctor and I fell that I can get back into the swing of things. It'll probably take me a little bit longer thou to make a new tree..

Someone suggested I do something like this - have the roots showing on one of my wire trees. But I won't copy you

Hey! Don't feel that it's not cool to use somone else's style of craftsmanship. I try to learn and incorporate others styles into my work all the time. I believe that it helps to make me a better artist and greatly improves my skills. In most cases I feel I even improve on something that I pick up from another artist. So twist away and have fun and grow!!!

Oh, I'd like to suggest either "resplendant" or "tranquil" as titles for this one, they seem to fit decently...

For a title..How about "Catawampus" . . .it is a synonym for bent, knotted, twisted...etc etc..It's a fun word
