A beautiful tiger. Lovely capture! I like the clarity and color accuracy. Wonderful composition as well.

Dear Endangered,
I know that you have requested critique for this particular work. It is a photograph, and (unfortunately) I don't have a lot of experience with this type of artistic expression... So, in my very humble opinion, the work would benefit from blurring of the tiger body and the background. The tiger's "face" is the center of attention/composition. It is intense and beautiful, a softer focus on the surroundings would further emphasize it...

I hope you don't mind that I used this pose when I drew a tiger for a friend. I can put an Link referring to this photograph.
I just couldn't think on how I was going to draw the tiger.

Such a wonderful shot.
I wish my zoo made it easier for me to take shots of their animals. They have boardwalks high above the animal enclosures wrapped in rope, so it becomes pretty hard to get good level shots of them. It's annoying.
I know there's a big cat reserve not too far from here. I'm definitely going there soon.
Love all your tiger shots! So crisp, so clean.
If you don't mind me asking, what was the shutter speed, aperture, and iso you used for your tiger shots?

Yeah, I've been to a zoo like that before (the Glen Oak Zoo in Peoria, IL). They built an entirely new African exhibit, but it's all raised so that you're looking DOWN at the animals. It's nice because you can actually SEE the animals, but it doesn't make for a good photographic experience.
