I like the cross-hatching of his shirt/jacket a lot, and the hair style is pretty cool. The beard looks also pretty nice, your seriously getting better and better drawing beards
I admit he does look younger than 53, maybe a few more wrinkles around his eyes would have helped to make him look older, but he goes into the right age-direction :'D the portrait itself does still look pretty nice!!

that's also why I don't mind them when see them. I had a few people who had to correct or make fun of every mistake I did, and I don't mean stuff like the bear and beard thing, it was more like they pretended to don't understand which went often in a very annoying direction :'3

That sounds very annoying indeed :'3 I make way too many mistakes myself to feel I can point out others' mistake unless it is someone I know well and then it is almost never to cime off as I dont understand something because of a spelling error I do not understand the fun of that :'3

Same to me, I also don’t see a reason why I should point that out, I mean when I understand them, why should it bother me? If it’s something funny and as you said with someone I know I do point it out, but for no other reason. Once I was asked to point out mistakes but only because a friend is learning German and she wants to use it on daily basis so I’m forced to tell her how we actually saying it xD
