Finally! After days spent on this drawings, I can at last showcase my dream-team of Autobot femmes – the Aetherbots! Why'd I call them that? Well, each of the characters has a power unique to them, kinda like elementals. And back in the days of alchemy, aether (pronounced ee-ther) was the theorized fifth element.

Better yet, I'm also drawing them as human huntresses straight out of RWBY! While I'm not that into RWBY itself, I adore the music and the outfits! Just to be clear, with their robot designs and stories I'm sticking mostly to the G1 continuity, since that's the one I'm most familiar with. Although I do throw in some elements from the 2019 IDW comics.

One more thing is that I based each of their personalities (with the exception of Freezeframe) on the signs of the zodiac. While I personally don't follow astrology, I do look to the zodiac sometimes for character design templates. This time, I thought I'd just do the whole shebang! I've also given them image songs and even battle songs!

And by the way, SPOILERS AHEAD for any potential future stories so, read at your own risk!

First up is the leader of the Aetherbots, Freezeframe!

Once a leading and quite wealthy name in the manufacturing of energon, Freezeframe's compassion for the downtrodden drove her to join the Autobots when the war began. Unfortunately, at one point, she was caught up in a surprise Decepticon attack. Thinking she was dead, her comrades left for Earth without her. But Freezeframe was still alive – and angry. Angry at the Autobots for leaving her, but even more furious at the Decepticons. She followed them to Earth, only to crash into the arctic – where she received her ice and snow powers. After she revived, she was caught by the Decepticons and made to be Megatron's new attack-dog. Fortunately, she found and reconciled with her Autobot friends, and began serving as a double-agent for them.

Having spent most of her life playing one role or another, Freezeframe is somewhat quiet, withdrawn, and naturally suspicious – willing to open up only to a select few. But should she allow you past her inner walls, she'll reward you with her undying love and loyalty. Because of her secretive nature, the humblest of Autobots – Bumblebee – came across to her like a breath of fresh air, and the two fell in love. And because he was the first whom she took on personally in battle, there's no Decepticon she loves to pick on more than Starscream! Otherwise, espionage, sabotage, and sneak-attacks are her modus operandi. She's even invented her own acrobatic martial-art in order to take advantage of her natural agility.
