I was reading up on how you get better stats from pairing up certain characters and I did debate pairing Chrom with another character for my second playthrough but I just couldn't, lol. It's illogical and insane but I felt like it would taint the experience if I played it any other way. So my avatar is quite different this time but still paired with Chrom ^_^

i just finished the game with just 4 people, fem robin, chrom, morgan, and lucina. while it was kinda boring game play wise (morgan and robin with their ignis procs) it was really cool having the family i built up being the ones to beat the game.

I love these two so much....one of the biggest reasons is because I think it makes the whole story that much more awesome. Chrom/Robin especially adds to the story during the Lucina's Judgement scene. But yeah, these two are so awesome

Lovely art!Β Heh, the Avatar and Chrom have so much chemistry that, if you don't hook them up, in Lucina's supports she assumes that they're having a secret affair, is shocked to learn that they're NOT and then basically flips out and demands that she fall in love with Chrom immediately.

and in morgan support, she jokes that she was surprised the two didn't "Tie" the knot because they were so close.

I don't know if this has been said before, so sorry.
Having your character marry Chrom is really the saddest thing ever. Perhaps it's lessened if you allow Chrom to finish Grima, but if you finish him/her off, you die as well. Chrom just lost the love of his life and the mother to his daughter. Holy crap!
I still ship them! Best love story EVAH!!

might be why, i completed the game on normal- classic and the game wasn't that hard cause the pair up system in awakening is broken. I got a special cinematic at the end of the game.

Thankfully, the pair-up system was fixed in Fates, what with defense-only pairs being together and attack-only pairs being next to each other.

My first playthrough was also ChromXMU, all the feels! T-T I remember that time when the team was running away from the evil daddy and to come back in the exact same room after the battle(chapter 22, I think). -__- That was very akward.
