Epic Luneko redesign is epic.I recently got the idea to redesign Luneko a little.
My main goal was to actually draw a full body picture of her for once, so this was the perfect excuse for it, hurr hurr. I've been thinking about her colours for a while now. Pink and green is one of my most favourite colour combinations - even one of my rooms has those colours - so I couldn't stand the thought that my very own mascot doesn't have those two colours in it. Thus, I made her scarf and ribbon green instead of magenta and decided to give her green hair tips for that she has a direct pink-green gradient.
Other than that I was slightly annoyed seeing anyone including myself draw he with a pretty tiny and thin scarf. I've always been a fan of huge scarfs that cover half the face so I decided to finally point that out as well. Kudos to =Chibi-Nuffie for giving her such a huge scarf in her picture even without me telling!
Well and last but not least, the reason all this redesigning started: I had the awkward idea of giving her a big and long jacket instead of an Amy Rose'ish dress. And since her ballerinas didn't fit the overall picture anymore, Luneko got some new boots as well!
Of course, this doesn't mean I'll abandon her old clothes completely. I will simply use those as alternatives. Considering that Luneko LOVES scarfs and ribbons, it is very likely that she has a full non-existant closet full of them, anyway~
This has also been my first time after a longer while using SAI for colouring again. Wanted to try out something slightly different in shading. Something pretty simple yet effective. How did I do on that? What do you think?
And yeah, minimalistic signature this time as my standard signature would've spoiled the whole picture.. D:

Nettes redesign. c:
Meiner Meinung nach sind dir die Proportionen hier sehr gut gelungen, auch wenn ihr Kopf ein wenig breit scheint. (Wobei das wohl eher am Design liegen mag.)
Ebenfalls muss ich an dieser Stelle einmal erwähnen, dass die Perspektive der Füsse sehr gelungen scheint. Ich verzweifel regelmässig daran, diese annähernd realistisch zu gestalten.
Oh, und mir gefällt auch sehr, wie du ihre Pupillen gezeichnest, anstelle sie "nur" farblich abgesetzt hast. Meinst du, du könntest diese Weise für die ACEOs übernehmen?

ja ich weiß nicht.. das mit dem Kopf kann durchaus auch an ihrer Frisur liegen o^o; noch dazu is Luneko ja auch etwas kindlicher als meine üblichen charas xD
Was du mit den Pupillen meinst, habsch jetz aber nich ganz gerallt o:

Das Kindchenschema kam mir dann auch in den Sinn, als der Kommentar dann abgeschickt war.
Was die Pupillen angeht (gosh, I don't seem to explain myself well these days x"D), verglichen zu deinen anderen Zeichnungen hast du sie diesmal als dunkle Punkte gemalt. Eigentlich meinte ich nur dieses Detail. :"D

awwww she looks so cute and adorable, I could just give her a huge cuddle, I really like how you designed her with the clothes and scarf and the colours are just as equally well used too nice work and keep it up n_n

I quite like her newer design <3 the implement of the green really makes her pop out. She was amazingly cute before but the addition of the green is perfect >w< .... also You nailed it with the perfect shade of greeeen (green green green green

It really took me AAAGES to find the right shade. I had a ton of tries with different greens and different blacks/greys on her scarf... took a while until I found a combination that did not look like acid or something.
Same goes for me about that jacket, really.. =w= But for the scarf as well ;A;
I only miss her long sleeves somehow... >: But well as I said, I guess I'll keep the two alternatives... I'm pretty sure she can also wear her old dress along with a green scarf *durrhurr* (only that I will give the dress the exact same shade of red/pink as the jacket, so it looks better o: )

What a great combination of colors, as that is what made me want to open the image and look at it as a whole. It almost has a “Studio Ghibli” feel to it.
