xD in mine, I actually gave them separate bodies, where the millennium ring becomes Yami Bakura's new body (kinda like a Kikyo thing?) through an ancient Egyptian spell, but the spell goes ary and he turns into a harmless baby, so Ryou decides to raise him to be a decent human being. but it's not a yaoi fanfic. I'm scared to write one of those.

Well, it may not work in the physical realm, but if since Yugi an Atem did seem to ahve their own soul rooms, it could possibly happen within the metaphyiscal realm for such pairings, after all, Yugi has been in Atem's spirit room, so it could work like that for them and others....
