I always imagined Leatho with a ponytail. I drew a rough sketch of he and Tiria marrying. I really think they should have. My fav Redwall book so far. I've only read two and seen the whole show. Need Redwall books!!

Awesome. I hadn't seen these.
Yay for otters! Yeah, Leatho wins. An moles must allus be squinty.

Ughh, look how dated... I was still going full digitigrade, oy... X)
Leatho does still win in spite of it all. High Rhulain was kinda underwhelming... but it WAS ottery so I still tolerate it. And when you basically have the otter version of Robin Hood and Virgil Hilts combined... well then.
Also, I do like the squinty mole still. Moles are adorable and underrated.

Leatho looks amazing! I didn't know this book was out until very recently, so I made up for it by reading it a few times. The more I look at this drawing,(Leatho especially) the more I cna see him doing what he did. Great job!

Gyahh, I still haven't read the new book yet. I like the badger, he looks so confident like he's about to open a can of hurt on some poor vermin.

Aah! Can't wait to read that book XD Your character designs are awesome and your Redwall style is very unique I'm just imitating the animated series'...

The animated series actually did a pretty good job... I only had a couple problems with their style. 1) The mice all looked alike. Cornflower with her little hat off was pretty much Matthias in girl's clothes. 2) And for badgers and otters, I didn't like the little round muzzle they gave 'em. But overall, it animated nice and (especially Martin the Warrior) did the stories justice. Cluny, Slagar, and Badrang were flippin' sweet. Too bad that doesn't air in my area anymore.

I've only seen parts of the "Redwall"- and "Martin the Warrior"-series but almost the entire "Mattimeo" and I really liked 'em x) I only hope I'll get a chance to see more of "Martin the Warrior"...
And yes, you have good points there. Cornflower does look exactly like Matthias- just take away that hat...
Well, guess I should go and dig out those old sketches of mine and see what I can improve

I love the otter at the top! Crap, I was gonna read this book over Christmas break, but I never got to the library and now I'll have to wait til school is done....or I could just sneak some reading...mwaha!
I really like your designs and facial expressions. They make me smile!

Who, Leatho? Ah yes... he's my favorite. In fact, a lot of the outlaw otters are. Heck, simply saying the phrase "outlaw otter" makes me happy. This is one of the better recent books, for sure. Mossflower always wins because of Mask, Gonff, Skipper, and Gingivere... but I did like this.
Ah, Redwall. My guilty peasure. I just wish it'd be a lot less black-and-white sometimes... but that's what good fanfics are for, eh?

Isn't that book awsome! I just read it about a month ago. It's one of my favorites. I love how you depict Leatho with his cute little bandana. ^_^

A proper bandit or outlaw needs a bandanna. At least in my book.

Only because he's the coolest. Like Robin Hood, otter-style.
