Description
This is a piece of artwork that I did for my grandparents. It started out as my first abstract work, and evolved--as it usually does--to something with a person in it.
This will not be available as a print until I can fix some of the calibration issues due to the size of the original scanned in!Time: approx. 7 hours
Media: watercolours, acrylics, salt, iridescent medium, masking fluid, and pencil.
Original size: 18x12 inches
Side note: The "grey" stripes in her hair are actually washes of iridescent medium. Unfortunately, as always with scanning such media, it wasn't picked up too well and just transferred digitally as grey.

Pretty, pretty, pretty with the watercolor, as always, but I would caution you about the forehead there.

Heehee, thank you! She actually was never part of the original painting, but one of the watercolor wash lines looked like a face so I decided to change the whole thing.
