This piece is old, probably a year or two. I wanted a top for my altar that was colorful and meaningful, so I created an angel sitting on a rock by the ocean.

I'm not a big collage person. It takes a lot of thought, a lot of careful calculations, and a lot of scissors. But I did enjoy doing this one.

I covered it with resin to protect it from candle wax and spills; it was my first time using the stuff, and a bit of a disaster. But it worked! It wasn't until this year that I learned the chemicals I actually should have used...oh well!
