Colouring overall probably takes longest overall for me too, but I do backgrounds and stuff separately so in my head they’re quicker or something?
I don’t really time each stage tbh
Sketching tends to feel the most tedious tho :/

I've done plenty of smaller one-shot nuzlockes or vs lockes with my brother where it FEELS like I've lost 30 lol but yeah that's a lot
For me I usually get all the basic coloring done and then when I'm working on effects I'm like 'OH WAIT I'VE GOT TO ADD THAT BEFORE I FORGET' and then before I know it a month has gone by :')
