'Tis a good thing the beetle was yellow, and not blue. That opens up a whole new set of jokes involving "superheroes".
I guess "Oops" is better than "What tha...I thought I heard something beep."

I can't imagine the tapestry of obscenities that driver is weaving as he rants about what's left of his poor car.

Ok, I gotta ask...What's the bumblebee reference? I've had someone on my FA gallery mention it too and I'm kinda clueless about it.

*laughs* LoL!
In the original Transformers cartoon (back when I was like... 5 ) The little yellow robot Bumblebee was a cute 'n tiny VW Beetle instead of the Chevy Camreo (sp?) Speilberg used in the movie that came out two years ago.

lol! Optimus Prime was my hero way back then... so when the new movie came out I was all *squee!* and I felt like a little kid all over again. Hmmm, I had a strange fascination with Battle Kat from the old He-man cartoons. OH! And who could forget those rainbow-colored little Ponies with the strawberry-smelling hair?

Oh yes! My Little Ponies were my kind of thing I don't remember much of the TV shows (I do have the 2nd season of them on DVD now!) but I had some of the toys when I was a kid
I kind of..."borrowed" my brother's Battlecat I have it upstairs at my artdesk, he makes a good reference for large cats and snarls

lol! I don't think I remember much of the TV show either. I remember having a VHS of the movie and a record that went with it, but that was about it. I still have a box full of the toys up in my Dad's attic... ... *cough* ...been plotting to sell them off on ebay...
Hurray for Battle Kat's modeling prowess! See? He's still a hero!

I gave all my ponies to my cousin when she was little, and they've since been sold at a garage sale when she was much older. Which is the excuse I use to explain why I collect MLPs these days LOL!

Apparently the yellow one.
