Description
Wild boars are already awesome looking animals and this mythological one takes that even further up. The Erymanthian Boar was a man-eating, giant boar that lived on the mountain Erymanthos in the arcadian highlands. It was Hercules fourth labor, he was going to capture the svine alive. So how was i going to tackled this one.
My idea was to make it more robust and shaggy than a regular boar. I also took inspiration from the extinct entelodonts( commonly called hellpigs) with the protutions on the head.Β I dont want to brag but i really love this picture, its one of my personal favourites.

Boars have been among my favourite animals always! And also this reminds me to some Australian horror films with man-eating boars like RAZORBACK and Chris Sun's BOAR, and that Korean film called CHAWZ that I haven't seen yet, but I think that my real love for boar monsters was born after seeing Ganon fromΒ The Legend of Zelda games in action, specially since Ocarina of Time..I got happy to hear that there's also a boar monster confronted by Hercules/Heracles!! I like a lot his blood stained fangs and tusks.

i love the prehistoric look of this mythical boar, awesome work!, it would be the biggest bacon ever once slain.
have you thought of doing a monstrous take on Typhon the father of monsters and Echidna the mother of monsters?, imagine them looking like a primeval mishmash of prehistoric horrors along with Echidna having a translucent pregnant belly containing all sorts of monstrous offspring.
