Iβve been stuck in a horrible art block lately. I draw everyday, but most of the drawings are exercises from college. So I did a quick sketch of a recent fav character of mine, Deet. You should totally check out the series on Netflix. Itβs so epic and incredible.Related content

She looks very lovely. You're definitely getting the hang of the Disney-esque art style.
I like how the outlines of the face are pronounced in particular.
The lighting and shading is also very good, although maybe you could colour the background a little differently to reflect it.
I see how the darker parts of her body give a purpler hue because of the purple background.
But without any yellow in the background to accommodate it, the lighting feels a bit out-of-place.
But maybe it's just me. X) This is still a really great piece.

The only thing that made me sad was to realize since this is a prequel, it means all our beloved gelfling characters are either going to get drained or killed by the end of the series... You know, before the Dark Crystal movie per se. ...

Such is the thing with telling stories of heroes and villains. But, all stories must come to an end and that includes our characters as well. I hope that their efforts can mean something for the story and for the things to come. Their stories should be told in a way that makes their time worth remembering.
Deet has become quite the popular character it seems and I think Jim Henson would be proud to see what has become of his lost gelfling from the time he was developing The Dark Crystal.
