Another serving of doodles, but this time with... gosh, a very very old OC that never went above the age of 15.
Leslie is a character I have since 2011 (and she was a side-character in a slice-of-life story I used to write pretty much by the seat of my pants on a french fanfiction/original fiction site). Her whole thing was that she was a sweet kid that was bullied for little oddities and her arc was gonna center on becoming brave and standing up for herself. I'm kinda shocked that this still tracks to this day even when her role is less secondary or her world is less and less contemporary.

Y'nno, I'm very fond of that old drawing in the top left corner (it's not from 2011, my art-style was way more manga-leaning than what it is now) because she really looks "rough and tumble" much like how a kid would and I think my drawings kinda lost that charm along the way. ... Also it's the closest to how I used to describe her frizzy red gravity-defying hair (with sparks of static flying through it, for kicks) and that's just a shame.

Next to it we have four lil' Leslie in black and white that are from 2020 I think (should've bothered putting a clear date on them but I never learn) and ... they look neat, I guess? I clearly had a few scenes in mind when I drew these and I'd still like to draw them happening in a comic, or at least write them down in a webnovel. It's interesting to go back and see how cleanly I tried to ink at one point, if anything!

Then we move on to the red and blue Leslie's! I don't really have much to say, it's expression practice, it's me putting a barbie into different outfits and brushing the nest of knots she calls hair. It's the usual. Also, by this point in my mind, she became the main character when she was supposed to share the spotlight with at least three different characters. Good for her.

And finally, we got some attitudes with bold eyebrows, is that even Leslie??? Just trying different haircuts and shapes for a character when I get a little bored with their usual shapes and language, don't worry about it.

I'll probably find more to post about this character, but for now here's the mess I offer!
