Pencil freehand sketch with Faber-Castell Polychromos Prussian blue, and Derwent Chinese white 7200 pencil. Big fan of less is more (though sometimes it is fun to go crazy with detail and photo realism as an exercise). I always try to stop when I feel there is enough, like when you can explain something in a sentence instead of padding an essay when writing.
