It just seemed kind of 'tim burtonish' to me. Im a huge Tim Burton fan, so im pretty familiar with his artwork.

Wow! I really like what you did here. You have really done a very nice job in creating an ambience of depression in this picture. The scriblly back ground right behind is an awsome attribute to creating a melencholy mood for the picture, also really directs my attention to the real beauty of the picture.
I also really like her position and her experssion. Both combined, really give me a sense of defeat, you can really see it in her eyes.
I also like her body. Very skinny, Adding to that fact that this person is not happy. Very nice job!
admist the black color in your pictures, I really REALLY like how you added a little blue in the background and all over. It makes the picture very interesting and fun to look at. Lots of variety! PLus, its Looks GREAT together.

I was very happy with how this came out, but it bothers me that one of her arms is slightly shorter than the other. Ah well, it's subtle...I think
I originally intended for the whole paper to be colored, but I think I like it as is.
