Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoy it ^^ That picture took me a long time to do. I'm afraid though I cannot take full credit for the design though. She is my avatar from the Gaia Online forums .

Looks wonderful! Great subtle color use. The figure looks great with the folds and costume. As a stylistic choice though I would have made the hat a bit larger with the brim obscuring her eyes a bit to add to the mystery, but it's quite wonderful as it stands.

Oh, thank you! That's quite the compliment ^^ Normally my sketches are sooo messy! I used blue pencils a lot and they were a pain to erase. I've been recently inspired by the cleanest sketcher in the world, She told me to draw (scolded me, really) on cardstock (which erases much better) with mechanical pencil. It was a hard habit to break at first, but I seem to be getting better at it ^^ I've really been trying to take my time and clean up my drawings. I'm happy to hear someone noticed ^_^ Thanks!

I gave up red pencils myself for the same reason, a pain to erase. Back to good-ol-mechanical pencil and Windor and Newton India ink

India Ink? Do you pen or brush? So that's how you get such rich lines!

A 00 round nylon brush. I never cared for Pigma pens.
To each his own

It takes a lot of skill to handle those brushes! I've just gained a whole new respect for your art ^_^

Beautiful I love the lineart of that one ! The pose, outfit and expression are just amazing. Are you going to colour it? It'd look even more wonderfull if you did ^^

Thank you very much! I really worked very hard on the cape and jacket, so I'm glad you enjoy it ^_^ I really would like to color this one, though I am not looking forward to inking it... heh I'm afraid ink will ruin the soft lines. We shall see ^_~ Thank you again!

If you are afraid you might ruin the picture, then I suggest to transfer it to a different sheet of paper and then ink *it's a bit of a hastle and takes up time, but I've done that few times in the past*
It still looks great though -whether you decide to colour it or not ^^

Normally I do use a lightbox to ink to Bristol board, but now that I drew this sketch on cardstock it's really hard to see through the pages. I'll have to try and see how it comes out.
Thank you again! ^_^
