Description A very long, challenging and good project.

The brief: take a photo from the local cement works ruins and make it into a matte painting, retaining 50% of the original.

The photographic elements:
- the ferns,
- pillars
- foreground rocks (behind all that foliage..)
- and a tiny bit of seafloor texture.

The rest is painted.

Wow, I totally didn't realize this was by you at first. I guess I'm not used to you using such realism. You did a fantastic job with this. I love the runes on the pillars, and it's hard to tell where the photo ends and the painting begins. Awesome job!

Thanks Meboeck. It was a real learning curve - like you said, haven't done much realism before. I had a lot of feedback in doing this though; that's what made the difference.
