Description
An urgent present for my uncle. I'm still no good in landscapes but practice is prctice. Referenced from a photo I make in 2011. The Circum-Baikal Railway WIKIPEDIAWatercolours, white gouache, Fabriano Torchon paper. 30x40cm.

Там есть кусок железной дороги,река, а еще туннель. И кусок скалы.
Очень красиво, и безумно похоже на рисунок о_о Я даже сперва очень удивилась.

iv been meaning to tell you this for a while but havent, so im saying it now. You are by far my favorite water color artist. Possibly even my all around favorite artist on this site. After starting to watch you I fell in love with watercolor and started "testing the waters" myself. I have none of my art up on this account but plan on making another dedicated to it. Your work is beautiful and i can only hope I can gain skill to reach where i hold your level of artistry.

It's always hard to accept compliments when you know how much mistakes and drawbacks committed in your works. But it's always incredibly pleasant to know that your works even with all their flaws makes someone inspired enough to start working with watercolours and enjoy the process of making watercolour works. I have started a portfolio of all my watercolors. my scanner doesnt work so i am trying to get relatively decent photographs of them. This goes straight into my favourites. Such a way of using different ways to make it look incredibly detailed without being smudgy or exhausting! The composition, choice of colours and way in which this is painted - I shall study this closely and draw inspiration from your skilled way with watercolours!

Aw. I'm glad you like this picture but you're overestimate me and my work I did here. This painting isn't a good example of how the watercolour landscape should looks like. It's just an obvious mindless fast painting from photo. I wish you to find a much better example for study.

It has, despite being a speedy painting, something that drew my eye and mind. And, if it is "only" a fast painting, I should still look well and hard at it, to take cues on how to paint quickly. I tend to overwork and sit for far too long with pieces.

Know your strengths my friend cuz you have them. This watercolor is amazing and it's true we can all improve, but don't sell your self short. I definitely think you did a good job with the vanishing rail road.
