Try not to add 'no offensive' to the end when you go out of your way to say something hurtful.
Besides the movie canon isn't going to follow the books like httyd didn't. This is just a comic so it doesn't have to follow either.

I guess I understand where you're coming from but what you said was a bit harsh, this artist has spent some time drawing it so negative comments like that can bring anyone down.

Just give a critique and offer up improvement ideas to the art or in this case the story, it's a lot better than saying it's awful.

I get what you're saying, but it's called fan fiction. Anything can be remade or manipulated to make an alternate story, including the creation of random ships like Pitch/Jack (<--hence crack).

Bad as in bad storytelling? There are so many ways to tell a bad story, whether it be execution (grammar, story structure, contrived or unrealistic situations, lack of continuity, etc.), plot, characters...

If you mean that then I totally understand you. There are unfortunately a lot of those people. They should be reading, not writing…

However, what's good and what's bad, in my opinion, is mostly subjective. Those that create won't stop creating just because someone doesn't agree with their work. If you want to help, give criticism. It works better than opinionated negativity. If you don't care to help, I wouldn't recommend commenting. After all, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

well buddy, these ''artists'' are giving bad messages to the good people with the work that their doing. i can give criticism, but it will be a lie, it will only point art how bad their work is in terms of mistakes and problems with pic, but the truth will be is that the work is bad because it was turning something beautiful into something the exact opposite. and that's what sickens me.

I'm not quite following your understanding, what you mean by "giving bad messages" and criticism being a lie. But again, what you like and/or think is beautiful is subjective. You have one idea, others have other ideas.
My only recommendation is to avoid such things that sicken you because it won't stop. Might as well ignore it and move on. Hate, and voicing your hate, only leads more attention to what you dislike. That's why they say bad publicity is still good publicity.

your saying that if you don't like the art work, give criticism. but its not the art that i don't like in terms of details. its the bad message it gives off. i mean really, why would someone draw a story arc where man in moon is bad? why do so many people have to turn so many beautiful, good things like rise of the guardians, into something that is bad. thats the real reason i dislike that kind of work.

Other people want to try and take characters they like and give them a different interpretation. That's how ideas are formed and stories are made. Again, what you like and dislike is subjective. You don't like people changing characters to be something they weren't originally. That's your opinion. Not everyone agrees with you. Why lament and spread unnecessary hatred? Move on.

i wouldn't call it hatred if its justified. im sorry, but i can't help but think that its the artwork that reflects upon the person and who they are. and anyone who is sick enough to turn someone that was intended to be good and beautiful into something foul and bad, is someone that doesn't deserve any respect. they are the ones more likely to spread negativity.
