I do have to say this piece is very well done in my opinion. I looked very closely at the detail and you nailed the emotion of each side perfectly. The wrinkle of her nose and the cringe on her face, as well as the raised shoulder to show she is tense really does bring out the emotion of sorrow, while the other side is very relaxed.
I gave a low rating on originality seeing as though you admitted you were inspired by another work of similar nature.
As far as technique it could use improvement in some areas, but otherwise I believe it looks very nice. The different shading between the two sides gives an accurate representation of the two emotions.
The piece does give a deep meaning and impact, so I rated that very high for it is relatable to many people.

A low score of originality, due to this have an extremely strong take to an extremely know piece by another artist, which regularly circulates social media.
However, the expressions used are very accurate, with accurate smooth lines throughout each part of the piece which fit well into the Anthro/Anime style which you have chosen.
Shading on the clothing could be vastly improved, however the use of tone has been very successful around the shoulders, breasts and collarbones. Small details such as shading around the piercings would create a much fuller effect.
Overall, due to the harsh limit of detail on this style generally, I find this a well structured and demonstrated piece with strong links to your own character.

Yeah, talk about the end, that was a very unnecessary plot twist, they should of left it at Black Butler ending where both Ciel and Sebastian got what they wanted.

I am not going to critique this piece, but i wanted to let you know that I really like it. I think it really captures what we as people do a lot in real life. Hiding the pain by smiling. I know you were inspired by another picture and that is cool, but I love how you added your own character to it and made it original!

I love the expression! I've seen a lot of these (A LOT) and this has to be in my top 10. Most times, people either draw them really bad, or get the expressions wrong, and it just looks completely misshapen. But this keeps a good balance, and the expressions coincidence well! Great job!
