This is great! I love Aesop's Fables too, and drew a number of illustrations of them in pen and ink. Wonderful illustrations!!!

Beautiful use of muted colors. Simple, but still gives it a lot of depth. Is this completely digital? or did you scan in a sketch? Heh...I'm still studying it, so I guess I'll add it to a collection. I'm interested in how it's like a colored sketch, but you actually used different colors for the lines. Very effective technique.

This is fantastic. I love the storybook quality of it- yet it isn't too cutesy, which a lot of the fable illustrations are. They still look like real [if stylized] rodents.

WONDERFUL. love the way the trees stand out against the city and the way they are drawn. great muted shades - love the reddish oranges.
