Four little portraits of Benedict Cumberbatch which I have drawn during the last weeks
The first two doesn't really look like him... :/It was so much fun! Mr. Cumberbatch, you have a gorgeous face (like the rest of you hrhrhr) and I really love to draw it (sooo - more drawings in next time! XD).
But: How you manage it that your face looks different on EVERY photo?!
Pencil on paper, every portrait 6-8cm x 8-10cm.

I must ask the same as another deviant, though: how do you shade your hair? ;_; Mine always looks like a thin mop.

Ah, I don't know how I can explain it (especially in english 
Uhm... Mostly I start with a light shading of the whole hair, then darken the dark areas and trying to find out the biggest strands of hair and how the hair grows and falls. Can't describe it very well, especially I'm doing it a bit differently every time ^^ It's mostly intuition...

ah, one thing i did forget to ask, how do you shade the hair....mine always comes out weird...I know that it should be something simple but I seem to have such a hard time shading the hair.

Ich finde sie alle 4 sehr gelungen.
Du sagst, das oben links sieht nicht nach ihm aus... aber das tut es. Nur sein rechtes Auge ist etwas merkwΓΌrdig, dadurch sieht es nicht ganz nach ihm aus. Aber wenn man die Seite mal mit der Hand verdeckt, ist er es 100%ig, wie ich finde.
Ehrlich, ich bewundere dein Talent.
