I know I posted this bio before, and some of the info listed below is already on the reference sheet, but bear with me. I finally have a full reference sheet for Aqualia now and it took me forever to make. Like...months XD

Aqualia is a water dragon that was hatched in the ocean depths within the ruins of Atlantis. As man started to discover Atlantis' whereabouts, Aqualia's mother, Aranna, decided that it was time to move on and relocate in order to protect her. Knowing that the ocean was no longer safe for her and Aqualia, Oceanus--Aqualia's father, demanded that Aranna should flee with Aqualia to the land above and live among the humans by transforming into one--thinking that it would be safer than to remain the in ocean. Oceanus remained there to defend their home against any more human contact and invaders and promised to find them as soon as it was safte to return home. Before Aqua parted with her mother when she became an adult, Aranna gave her a water pendant as a memento, and Aqualia never takes it off for anything or anyone.

Aqualia tends to switch back and forth between land life and sea life since she was raised in both worlds--which is why she has a few different forms that she likes to take on. She is able to transform into different things with the use of water that's in her body, so she does most of her shape-shifting in the water. With growing up with humans, she has slowly become fascinated by them and enjoys watching them, and on a few accounts pranking them. For example, she'll transform into a mermaid and perch herself on a rock, and then will instantly disappear beneath the ocean waves when people start to freak out. However, she does seem to get lonely at times and can be quite shy when trying to make new friends.

Aqualia currently resides in an ocean cave hidden away in a kelp forest. Within her cave, lies a large hoard of treasures that she's collected from shipwrecks, beaches, and from the ocean floor. Her treasures consist of gold and silver coins, gems of all sorts, goblets, unopened treasure chests, swords, crowns, and even human jewelry. She's even acquired other human things she likes as well, such as silverware, fine china, and even dresses made of silk and velvet--one dress made of velvet and silky ribbons is her favorite and she wears it when in her human and anthro forms frequently. Aqualia does not understand the monetary value of all of the items in her hoard. As far as she's concerned, everything is oh so shiny and pretty and she likes it!

On Aqualia's spare time, she loves to wander around the human world and steal their food when they're not looking. But of course she'll pay them back...in fish that is. She'll often replace the food she took with a fish that she caught earlier in the day. So, if you notice your food is missing and see a dead fish on your plate instead, you might want to think twice about shouting at your waiter. On some occasion, she'll even catch fish and give it to a homeless person when they're not aware. She may leave a large tuna on the floor beside them or a lobster on top of their bag. Even though she was raised sort of like a human, there are still some things that she does not understand about them. For instance, she does not understand why humans have to cook fish in order to eat it. Nor does she understand the concept of money. As far as she's concerned, why use green paper and silver coins to get a fish when you can just catch one yourself?

From time to time, Aqualia will leave the ocean waters just to see one human in particular. He's a marine biologist that works in an aquarium, and is also a part-time professor at a local community college. Aqualia seems to be fascinated with him more than anyone else she's ever seen. To get up close and interact with him, she developed a human name for herself (Oceana) so she could talk to him and not raise suspicion about who she really is. Sometimes she'll observe him quietly from afar. Other times she'll take on her human form and talk to him. Over time, she developed a crush for him and wishes that they could possibly become mates one day. However, that means revealing her secret to him, and she can't risk it. Even though, the man doesn't know much about Aqualia, he's grown rather fond of her and sometimes wonders where she comes from--especially when she seems to just pop up out of nowhere and at no particular time.

Overall, Aqualia is an overall very curious dragoness. She's one of those dragons that just has to know everything, and why it's done, and how it's done.
