Depends on the one you decide to read!
If you're looking for a more fluff-based, fantasy, fun, kinda-sorta but-not-really-slice-of-life story, then I recommend Pumpernickel Magic. While the description's in the gallery folder, here's the brief premise: Unlucky guy gets whisked away to a different dimension (where everything is 20x the size of our world) on his way home and wounds up being made a pet for the magical boy genius who brought him there in the first place. And he's doing his darndest to try to convince him to take him back. Still working on it, with the next chapter in the making.
If you're looking for something heavily plot based and aren't adverse to violence, realism, and mystery, then I recommend Misplaced. It's a Sci-fi thriller with a huge focus on the consequences of having gigantic aliens show up on Earth. Long story short, boy gets caught up in an alien war because everyone thinks he's a certain soldier who went missing over a decade ago, and both sides are searching for an artifact that holds tremendous power, but with different agendas on how to use it. This story features several characters, but all their circumstances revolve around the main character.
Those are the two I recommend the most and say are worth the read!
My 38th Campaign one is very slow going, and I'm already planning to rewrite it so you may want to hold off on that. And the New Megas is on permanent hiatus, so for those two, I'd probably say hold off.
