So in the midst of having a cold and sneezing and blowing my nose every minute and a half, I had an idea for a another illustration for chapter 19 of Conflicted Omens yesterday. I had an idea of drawing Caudery right after he sacrificed himself and the Antichrist took over his body. Before the Antichrist is defeated by Fell. So, here’s the result. I’m rather happy with the pose and the snake-sneer on Caudery’s face. It's one of my best, I think.

Fell stood. Everyone looked to the form of Caudery. He had also stood. He seemed to be looking himself over, examining his hands and legs. The darkness was now swirling around him. Fell’s heart felt as though it dissolved when Caudery lifted his head and faced him. His eyes had become red. His mouth opened in a grin, his fangs fully exposed in a venomous snarl.
Caudery was no longer. His being had been entirely taken over. Caudery was now the Antichrist.
