Kamek uses powerful magic to form a Dry Bones into a more powerful variant: Phantom Bones. The skeletal koopa's limbs are now invisible, but are bio-electric. It can detach and reattach its limbs at will, and use them to deflect projectiles and effectively guard against close range attacks. The most dangerous thing about Phantom Bones is its ability to kill someone just by touching them.

This is essentially The Venture Bros. villain Phantom Limb if he was a Dry Bones. This Mario enemy's supervillain outfit combines Phantom Limb's outfit with the wears and appearance of Dry Bones from Mario Strikers Charged as seen on Waluigi's team.
