Description Nostalgia is denial - denial of the painful present... the name for this denial is golden age thinking - the erroneous notion that a different time period is better than the one ones living in - its a flaw in the romantic imagination of those people who find it difficult to cope with the present.

So I watched this movie again the other day (I had previously watched it at the cinema last summer), and it reminded me why I loved it so much. Seriously, I couldn't agree more with the main chara -his gf was an utter b*tch-. I loves Marion Cotillard and all the old school celebrities appearing -Picasso, Hemingway, the Fitzgeralds and Lautrec, oh my!.

And I think what they said was very true. We look towards the past and feel nostalgic about times we haven't lived in. At least, I do this too often.

Another Paris-related work. Hell, I am NOT obsessed with France, just so you know. But anyway, it seems like it's fun to draw.
