this artwork was created around March/April, a period when I began to try to gain control over everything that had been happening lately. A time when emotions were strongly conflicting to the point of influencing both my own choices and particularly what I have enjoyed doing most for the past 8 years: creating. It's about telling something that I would never say out loud, perhaps out of fear of being judged. This artwork was a way of saying that there is something more out there, not just the darkness of the house where one might lock themselves away out of fear that what hurt before might happen again. Often, darkness is like the night of our journey, and it is precisely for this reason that, following it, there will always be the dawn, the light of a new journey.follow me on:
